Earnings Today: Airbnb and Cloudflare Report After the Close on a 642-Company Day
Airbnb headlines the after-close slate with its own revenue guide as the bar, Cloudflare reports into a two-week selloff, and ConocoPhillips leads a heavy pre-market calendar.

Thursday is the heaviest reporting day of the week so far: 642 companies on the Nasdaq calendar, split between a big pre-market wave of energy, utility and health-care names and an after-close slate led by two growth stocks carrying very different setups into their prints.
Before the bell. ConocoPhillips is the largest name of the day, with consensus near $2.97 a share on roughly $18.4 billion of revenue — the energy read for the whole calendar. Cigna carries the biggest revenue line of the morning, consensus of about $7.46 a share on roughly $72.6 billion. Cummins (consensus $8.38) and Parker-Hannifin ($8.23) give the industrial read, Duke Energy ($1.87) and Southern Company ($1.71) the utility read, and Cardinal Health ($2.95) and Becton Dickinson ($4.06) round out health care. None of these is the day's story on its own; together they set the tone before the main event tonight.
The headliner: Airbnb, after the close. Airbnb set its own bar in August: third-quarter revenue of $4.69 billion to $4.77 billion, growth of 15% to 17%, with gross booking value guided to mid-teens growth and Nights and Seats Booked to low-double-digit growth. The Zacks consensus sits inside that range at $4.75 billion of revenue and $2.89 a share. The tension is margin, not demand: the company has guided adjusted EBITDA margin slightly lower year over year on the timing of investments, even as it raised its full-year outlook — revenue growth of at least the mid-teens and an adjusted EBITDA margin of at least 35.5%. The call is at 5 p.m. ET.
Cloudflare, after the close — reporting into a selloff. Cloudflare guided third-quarter revenue to $736–737 million, about 31% growth, and raised its full-year guide to $2.864–2.870 billion; consensus sits right on the guide at roughly $737 million and $0.34 a share non-GAAP. What makes tonight different is the setup: the shares fell about 13.8% last week, including 9.5% on Friday, so the print lands with expectations already marked down and gross margin — 73.1% non-GAAP last quarter, against 76.3% a year earlier — as the number to watch. The call is at 5 p.m. ET.
Also after the close. EOG Resources (consensus $4.47) extends the energy read into the evening, Affirm ($0.39) gives a consumer-credit read one day after the midterms, Atlassian ($1.45) reports on enterprise software spend, and Lumentum ($3.82) prints in the middle of the Marvell takeover story — its first report since the $115 billion all-stock deal was announced Monday. DraftKings, IonQ, SoundHound and Warner Bros. Discovery complete the evening slate.
The read-across from yesterday. Qualcomm and Arm already reported Wednesday after the close: Arm beat on both lines — revenue up 27% to $1.44 billion, adjusted EPS of $0.52 — but guided the December quarter only in line, and the shares fell anyway. That is the pattern hanging over tonight: in this tape, a beat is the entry fee, and the guide does the talking. Consensus figures above are analyst-estimate tallies from earnings calendars and previews; company guidance is as stated by each company. This is a news summary, not investment advice.
